CFAO Group Donates 2 Pickups To Covid 19 National Trust Fund
On Thursday 23rd April 2020, The CFAO Group donated two magnificent L200 Double Cabin 4x4 Pick-ups, valued at GHC 300,000 to the COVID-19 National Trust Fund to support their efforts and mandate in the national effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 in Ghana.
At a ceremony held at the forecourt of the offices of the Trust Fund at Jubilee House, Point Six, country delegate of the CFAO Group in Ghana, Paulo Fernandes, said the organization finds it necessary to donate two of our most robust pick-up trucks to the fund to aid in their movement in the Greater Accra Region and around the nation.
The lead trustee, Chief Justice (Rtd) Sophia Akuffo, after receiving the keys to the vehicles noted that the two vehicles have come in at a strategic time in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. She added that the fund will allocate the two cars for prompt use by those at the frontline of the national fight to prevent the virus from gaining any more grounds in the country. She added that the pickups will be useful in reaching remote areas where people need foodstuffs and relief items. They will also help in the transportation of medical supplies to areas that need them most.
The donation was presented by the CFAO Group which conists of CFAO Motors, CFAO Equipment, PPGL, Gokals Laborex and Euracare.
The fight against the pandemic is one that requires all our support. We are proud to play a part and implore all citizens to adhere to all WHO and government advised guidelines.
